What do people thank me for?

Another way to look at it:

“What do you love helping people with?”
“What would you be happy to help others with, even if you didn’t get paid?”
“What do people constantly come to you for (travel tips, recipes, etc.)?”

This is a hard one, especially because here in the South, we thank everyone all the time. SO, it’s hard to tell what people are truly appreciative of and what they’re just being polite about…

I often get thanked at work for connecting people to information. People come to me with questions that have nothing to do with my role, but when they ask, I always try to hunt down the information. I don’t suppose I mind it so much, though I do feel like they don’t even try to look it up themselves before asking me…

I can’t think of anything I particularly enjoy helping people with or what I would do even if I didn’t get paid. Like I mentioned yesterday, if I knew that, then I wouldn’t be doing this self-discovery thingy.
